I have used the plans to gather the necessary materials. I’ve stalled out due to personal issues but so far the plans have been just fine.
At this point, I have most of the base constructed. Sourcing the parts was simple with the very good materials list. One thing extra I did was to trace out on the ground board with a pencil the dimensions of the track segments and friction ring blocks. This made cutting to the correct dimensions and angles easy. For the carpet ring, I sourced an 8”x 8” carpet sample named Adalida from Home Depot and cut it into eight 1” strips. The carpet sample only cost $1 and looks to work perfect. Looking forward to a finishing the project when life allows the time.
Professionally done, imparts lots of solved issues and possible fixes.
